True Caller undergoes hacker attack: Millions of users data exposed

Bangalore: World’s largest collaborative telephone directory true caller undergoes a hacker attack claiming themselves as “Syrian Electronic Army”. According to hackers tweets they stole almost 600 GB data of true caller users including their social networking data base. They uploaded some clips of true called data base for assuring as a hacker attack. The point of attack is mainly over Indian users as there are approximately more than 1 million Indian user over there. Truer caller has more than 20 million users across the world mainly centralize in Asia and Europe.

What is true Caller?

True caller is a telephone directory which allow users to share their phone book into service, it allows you two locate the unknown contacts from your users. It allow users to find their contact by one to other friends mainly through a friends group. Whenever we send a login information to Facebook via true caller then it gets a token where it can ask some additional information about users from Facebook.


Although True caller pinnacle authority said that “Its false information that hackers stole our users Social media information, still we are investigating in this matter and as soon as we find some clues we will inform our users about that because it’s our duty“.

Whatever it is but users personal information is confidential data and now company's main aim to fix them as soon as possible.
