Did you Get your Google Plus Custom URL? : Offering By Google Plus

Google Plus, as the prefix defines “plus”, we can get something good means plus over this social media platform. Reason why I like Google plus is that, it is more professional and more knowledge provider. I am not saying that Facebook is not good but Google plus has its image. Its communities, pages and professional profiles. Active users and awesome moderators in the communities make Google plus more professional and different from others.

I start using Google plus when, I create my blog around one year before that time I was blank and don’t know how to use Google plus. One thing I know that how to waste my time on Facebook. It was very tough for me to switch and accept a new platform but I didn’t put my steps back. After 4-5 hours a day on Google Plus feels amazing and thanks to Google plus to teach me Social media. I am not saying that “I am perfect in this but I can help others to tech Google plus and social media”.

Very happy that I am part of a Billion user social media platform. From Google plus I learn How can to get more Google followers so that I can increase my around the globe. I am a blogger so it is must for me to learn Google plus social media marketing tips and I learn this also along with Google authorship. 

It’s time to focus on today’s hot news in Social media. News is related to Google Plus custom URL. So here we go.

Google has announced today that they will provide custom URLs every Google plus profile and page. If you didn’t receive mail and any notification related to custom URLs in your Google Plus profile and Google plus page then no need to be worry, it will provides you within a week.

Many of my friends are not aware with custom URL, we also pronounced as Vanity URL. Here I am providing you the simple example of previous and new URL of my blog page.

Old URL

plus.google.com/u/0/b/108507234714924381127/108507234714924381127/posts   

New URL

https://plus.google.com/u/0/+PapabloggerOrg/posts

You can easily find the difference between both URLs. Old URL contains a series of large number and the new one is just simple according to your Page name and link. Looks better than old URL. It will help others to find the pages and profile through a URL like in Facebook.

But your profile and page must follow some criteria to get Google plus custom URL. Here I am mentioning the criteria.

1. You must have a Profile photo.

2. At least 10 Followers must.

3. Your account must be 30 days old.

If you meet all three above mentioned criteria then Google will surely provide you Custom URL but it can take some more days. I am going to mention that how we got Our Custom URL on Both pages. (Forgot to take pics of Blogger page so here I am using my tech page pics)
