Facebook alert, it’s confirmed that due to some kind of software bug Facebook
faced an expose of their users contact information.
“It
was just a software bug not any malicious attack, so people don’t have to be panic
about it “Said by social media expert.
Due
to some technical reasons form last few days users were facing a different kind
of problems i.e. whenever they just go through social media Download Your Information
(DYI) for receiving a mail of their FB account they just receive some additional
information of other users from their contact lists.
According
to FB team “it was not a Hacker attack, it was just a sharing of information (email
or telephone no) among the users who are connected with each other or have some
sort of information about any other. So all users must stay calm because their
confidential data is still protected and always will be. Alongside we haven’t
received any type complaint form users so it’s just a minimal problem.”
